Licensing
Licensing is where you could potentially sell or rent your idea to another company. If a company is interested in licensing your product they will typically pay you an upfront amount of money on signing of a licensing agreement and then an ongoing royalty for each item sold.
The benefit of a licensing agreement is that you avoid allot of the upfront expenses that you would typically incur to start production of your idea such as setting up a company to market and support the product. Those expenses would be taken on by the company licensing the product from you.
Our Licensing team brings a depth of knowledge and experience across many different product categories. Through our industry contacts and outreach we provide detailed and selective services to assist our clients from presentation of their ideas to major companies, through licensing negotiation, contracting and auditing to ensure you get the best agreement possible for your idea.
